Making up for lost time after 2020’s Met Gala was postponed, last night’s exclusive event saw celebrities bring their most fashion-forward beauty looks to the red carpet. Known as “fashion’s biggest night out”, and hosting by Editor-in-Chief of Vogue US, Anna Wintour, the fundraising gala is an opportunity for the very curated guest list to take a risk with their look. Walking up the iconic steps of New York’s The Metropolitan Museum of Art, stars embraced the theme of American fashion, co-ordinating with the museum’s two-part exhibition, In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, and In America: An Anthology of Fashion.
