Awards season is officially drawing to a close. The Screen Actors Guild Awards is one of the last hurdles where celebrities and their trusted glam squads pull out all of the stops. This year’s statement beauty arrived in stars embracing their natural features to the max. Think perfectly groomed brows, lashes coated in mascara and rosy lips finished with a sweep of gloss. For hair crops ruled the red carpet, with sleek looks and natural waves following close behind. Scroll down to go behind the scenes of some of our favorite looks.

Sophie Turner

Sophie Turner let her eyes do the talking with statement lashes created by makeup artist Georgie Eisdell. For hair, Christian Wood kept things simple working a soft wave into her locks.

A metallic smokey eye was the focal point for Joey King’s look, with Allan Avendaño sweeping it out into a perfect feline silhouette. Hairstylist Dimitri Giannetos had her bob swept back with a 90s feel.
