Bella Hadid Looked Unrecognizable With No Brows and an Undercut at the Marc Jacobs Fall 2022 Show

Bella Hadid, is that you? Part of the job when you’re a working model like Bella is changing up your look to fit the vision for the runway show you’re walking in, and for Marc Jacobs’s Fall 2022 show in New York City, Bella really changed things up — so much so that she was almost unrecognizable.

The model posted a picture from backstage while she prepped for her runway walk, giving fans a peek at the futuristic, punk vibe worn to compliment Marc Jacobs’s designs. Not only were Bella’s brows bleached, but she also wore a wig cap and a wig with baby bangs and a dramatic undercut that left much of her scalp bare.

It’s a look that would be right at home on the set of a Mad Max movie and added an extra edge to Jacobs’s chunky white platform boots, voluminous sweaters and gowns, and oversized trousers and coats.

In her backstage picture, Bella wore a very model-off-duty look of jeans, but on the runway, she went for pure glamour and show-stopping drama. She donned a shiny black ruffled gown with bold shoulders and a bustle, paired with long elbow-length white opera gloves for a throwback nod to the Gilded Age.

While we’re sure Bella will be back to her original self in her next Instagram post or street style moment, brows back to normal and undercut gone, her Marc Jacobs runway look was striking. The look also bears a striking resemblance to Bella’s latest endeavor, her NFT alter ego CY-B3LLA. Bella is living in the future and we’re all just playing catch-up.
