If latte nails have been on your mind, it’s time to take a closer look at Bella Hadid’s muted manicure. Here’s how you can recreate her look on your tips.

Last month, Bella Hadid got busy proving to us all that she’s the queen of the Cannes red carpet. And, she followed in sister Gigi Hadid’s footsteps with a tonal latte palette look for the red carpet.

Recntly, she stepped out in a sheer cafe au lait-colored YSL gown which she paired with ultra bronzed skin, side-parted chocolate brunette hair, monochrome brown-toned makeup and – because details matter – she finished the look off with the perfect shade of latte-colored nails to match. In fact, it seems like this muted manicure shade is still winning her favor in June, with the model posing in a corset dress just hours ago sporting the very same nail color. Take a closer look at it below.

Since Bella’s red carpet appearance, her manicurist, Emi Kudo, has been inundated with requests for the specific shade used. She revealed that Bella was the driving force behind the look, requesting a shade that matched her dress – “she chose it” she said. But to ensure it was bang on, Emi created her own blend to get the shade just right. “I mixed three colors from the Apres Valentine’s palette to accommodate Bella’s vision and make the perfect cafe au lait color,” she explained.

Emi went on to share a breakdown on her Instagram page, describing how to get the look.

“1. I blended her cuticle growth line – [a] previous set of Gel X – with “cuticle bit” from Apres.
2. I buffed the surface of the set, cleansed with wipes, then applied one coat of “gel coat” and cured.
3. I custom mixed three colors: “Twin Flame” “This Lifetime” and “Cardinal” from Apres Valentine’s palette to make a perfect Cafe Au Lait color to match her gown, and applied on her base gel cured nails, then cured.
4. I applied “Top Gelcoat” then cured.
5. I applied “Spring Steps” cuticle oil for moisturizing and extra shine,” she said.

The bad news is, the Valentine’s palette is sold out, so unless you already have it, you won’t be able to recreate Bella’s shade exactly. Plus, the palette was created for nail pros or proper at-home enthusiasts, so unless you’re blessed with artistic talent, Bella’s exact latte nails are a bit of a stretch. But that doesn’t mean you can’t add a screenshot to your gallery the next time you step out for a manicure this summer! After all, we are officially in iced latte season.
