Meraqelle focuses on active skincare products, with the first launch centered around four facial serums. Each serum is dedicated to addressing specific complexion issues, with high potency ingredients with anti-aging, hydrating, balancing, and refining properties. The Argi Argireline Peptide Serum is described by the brand as an anti-aging “botox in a bottle”, while the Calma Niacinamide Serum helps handle excess oil and breakouts. The moisturizing Dama Hyaluronic Acid Serum boosts the skin’s hydration levels, and the Rina Retinol Serum focuses on shifting hyperpigmentation, and minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.

Bousell is also known for her other beauty brand, Bassma Boussel Cosmetics, which ranges from lip scrubs, tints and plumpers, to argan oil for the face and an argan oil-infused mud masque. Previously married to Egyptian singer Tamer Hosney for 11 years, the couple announced their divorce last month. The Moroccan star is herself a talented singer, with her vocals rumored to be featured on the Meraqelle’s promotional video. The lyrics express a desire for freedom, with inspirational lines including “I want to fly/No one can take out my wings…No one can cancel me out/The power inside me will protect me/You are my big belief/ A new love and a new era.”
