For Chanel’s 2018 Cruise Show on Wednesday, Karl Lagerfeld sent out a lineup of Greek goddesses on the Grecian-inspired runway at the Grand Palais sporting soft, rumpled blowouts that were pulled back into half-updos and elevated with gilded headbands, clips, and crowns.

On some of the models, hairstylist Sam Mcknight – who crafted the ethereal looks – raked hair back into a half-up ponytail before twisting it into a single braid that ran down the back. A thick black ribbon that fell way below the waistline secured the cool-girl hair. The result was an effortless yet elegant look that is worth mimicking come summer. All that’s needed is a spritz of texturizing spray, handfuls of black ribbon, and a precise flick of onyx winged eyeliner to match.
