Shiseido x Yasmin Al Mulla

Japanese beauty house Shiseido has again partnered with Emirati designer Yasmin Al Mulla, customizing the brand’s Future Solution LX Legendary Enmei skincare collection. The designs utilize curving golden lines, with the theme continuing over a delicate match set gift with purchase. ““I am delighted to be collaborating yet again with a brand and product line that holds a special place in my heart,” says Al Mulla. “This bespoke artwork creation showcases the beauty of heritage, art, science, and rejuvenation infused with a Middle Eastern influence for the holy month of Ramadan.”

Maison Margiela x Ali Cha’aban

Maison Margiela Fragrances has launched its first-ever artist collaboration in the Middle East with Lebanese-born Ali Cha’aban. The limited edition box, titled I Dream of Arabia, is inspired by an Arabic quote that refers to dreaming in Arabic. Cha’aban is known for his unique visual commentary on regional culture and traditions, drawing on references to the past, present, and future. For the Maison Margiela Fragrances collaboration, he reconstructed childhood memories of Arabic motifs and intricate facades in a modern, minimalist style that fits the brand’s identity. The limited edition gift box will be available exclusively with the purchase of any fragrance and candle.

Molton Brown x Alya El Sanad

To commemorate this Ramadan, Molton Brown has enlisted the talents of Emirati calligrapher Alya El Sanad to create stunning artwork inspired by the color palettes from the brand’s three amber-based scents – Mesmerising Oudh Accord & Gold, Rose Dunes, and Neon Amber. The abstract illustrations draw inspiration from the ubiquitous presence of light in celebrations around the world, appearing on Molton Brown’s limited edition gifting card box. “For me, Arabic calligraphy is therapeutic. It has a unique beauty and offers a sense of comfort which I find fascinating. The depth and beauty of the language by its very nature plays a massive role in the fluidity of Arabic script, giving it a unique complexity that is both elegant and artistic,” explains El Sanad. “Molton Brown is a brand of high quality, positive luxury and individuality; all of which resonate strongly with Arab customers in general – many of my loved ones are fans of the brand.”
