How does the A-list keep their bodies in peak condition? Each week, meet one of the masterminds behind some of the world’s most finely tuned physiques.
There’s no refuting the mannequin-like proportions of Lebanese model and reality TV starlet Nadine Abdelaziz. She works hard to maintain her couture-clad body, with her trainer, Khodor Al Sayegh, putting her through her paces. “Nadine trains with me three times a week and is always active and raring to go,” says the trainer, who struggled with his own weight as a teenager. Weighing in at 120kg at 17, Al Sayegh turned the tables to become a fitness enthusiast. He understands the commitment and lifestyle overhaul required to start the journey to becoming the best version of yourself.
“A healthy body not only helps to clear your mind, it also has a positive impact on your overall attitude and mood,” he shares. To prep Nadine for the red carpet, including this year’s Cannes film festival, Al Sayegh focused on high intensity interval training and strength training. “It’s all about squats – every type of squat. The split squat is a favorite, followed by a series of hip thrusts, kettlebell swings, leg raises, step-ups, lunges, and dead lifts.” If you’re looking to shape up your booty in record time, ditch the motor for a bicycle to get those glutes in check.
