Tom Ford
Tom Ford's new makeup line, Tom Ford Extreme, was showcased at his Fall 2018 show. With Pat McGrath leading the way, a black smoky eye was finished with a sweep of glitter.
Jason Wu
Thomas de Kluyver created a floating liner look. Graphic yet soft, black eyeliner was outlined with either yellow or pink.
Dior
Bold eyeliner in pink, burgundy, and yellow matched the shades the models donned as they walked down the runway. Peter Philips worked with a blunt liner for a perfect, imperfect look.
Marc Jacobs
Diane Kendal played with nine Marc Jacobs Beauty eyeshadows, matching them to each of the models looks. Winged up and out past the brow, she created a glittering cat eye.
Fendi
Peter Philips worked his magic again, this time opting for an eye-opening smudge of alabaster pigment on the inner corner of models eyes teamed with flawless skin.
Maison Margiela
Lips were the focus for Pat McGrath at Maison Margiela. Drawing inspiration from the clothes she created glittering holographic lips for some models and used lipstick in vibrant oranges, blues, and violets for others.
Alexander Wang
Minimalism was key at Alexander Wang. Working with their natural beauty, Diane Kendal looked to glowy skin with a hint of contour.
Prada
Pat McGrath created crystal-studded cat eyes for an updated take on eyeliner. Working color along the top and bottom lash lines, she then added a single coat of mascara.
Balmain
Balmain runways always call for bombshell beauty. Val Garland made no exception working with a subtle sweep of glitter on lips and glowy highlight.
Prabal Gurung
Golden eyes inspired by the Mosuo, a matriarchal tribe you can find just outside of Tibet. Diane Kendal finished the look with a flush of blush and moisturized lips.
From New York to Paris, the world’s best makeup artists have worked their magic yet again, to create some serious beauty looks and new beauty trends for fashion month. Offering us endless inspiration for the season ahead, much of the beauty was focused on minimalism and the power of the individual. Eyes were also a major focal point, with the evolution of liner following on from last season, bigger and better than ever before.
