Everything to Know About Art in Space, a New Multi-Sensorial Gallery in Dubai

Since art is needed now more than ever, in all forms imaginable, a new gallery in Dubai will contribute to just that. Titled Art in Space, the event will make its debut on March 10 and run until March 13 in Downtown Dubai, incorporating multi-sensorial experiences via technology.

The immersive art gallery stimulates and involves the five senses by combining video, audio, aromas, light effects, fog, and temperature. Everything in the room is set to be automated by a centralized control system of the room or controlled via a tablet. The extensive use of technology bridges the gap between contemporaneous art and the digital world, buttressing the idea that art has infinite possibilities.

Some of the artists that will be present at the gallery include John James and V.E.S.A. The healing and spiritual work by James, ‘Honour Thy Lovers’ is a popular energetic art piece that focuses on channeling creative energy through shared talismans, ceremonial altar, and portals of ritual healing. V.E.S.A. is a full-time crypto artist and is best known for his work with actor Veena Malik. Other artists include: Victor Cord’homme, Igor Imhoff, Caroline Derveau, Barbara Malagoli and Akiko Nayakama. The event will also allow two-dimensional digital artists to meld their inventions with olfactory suggestions, lights, special effects and vibrational frequencies.
