M.Patmos

Marcia Patmos won the International Woolmark Prize in March, charming the judges with a travel-inspired collection designed to fit nicely into one suitcase. For Resort, the knitwear expert created more packable pieces that ranged in weight and warmth. (This collection, after all, ships in the dead of winter.) Those facing cold weather might opt for the metallic-tipped puffer buttoned into a gray flannel overcoat; temperate-climate dwellers will favor the collarless camel-colored jacket. Double-face cotton T-shirts had a multi-season appeal, and the striped cashmere polo was just simply appealing. Colorwise, Patmos played with sherbet hues like milk-glass green, chalky pink, and raspberry. In a lineup that felt akin to a greatest hits album, a palette with a point of view was crucial.
