Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2017 unveiled an array of breathtaking wedding dresses that will leave any bride-to-be’s heart racing. From elegant silhouettes to whimsical capes and opulent finishes, this edit rounds up the bridal gown trends set to take the spotlight come Spring 2017. Click ahead to discover the top three wedding dress trends that emerged from Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2017.

CAPTIVATING CAPES
Myriads of capes in long, sheer renditions with shoulder-grazing toppers had a major moment in the designer collections. Reem Acra, Lela Rose, and Naeem Khan all featured regal, fluttering capes that added an elegant allure to the floor-sweeping gowns.

MACAROON MATCH
Pastel colors in powder blue and pale pistachio green punctuated the Spring 2017 collections. However, the central hue was most definitely pink. All eyes were on the cotton candy gowns at Naeem Khan and Marchesa, as well as the dusty rose silhouettes from Houghton’s offering.

BOTANICAL BEAUTY
A combination of innocence and elegance was conveyed via 3D floral embellishments at Bridal Fashion Week 2017. Whether in the form of beautiful blooms across necklines at Oscar de la Renta or floral embroidered bodices at Carolina Herrera, the pretty petals added a soft, feminine touch to the intricately detailed dresses.
