Ladies, clear a space in your closets. After a 13-year hiatus, Dutch designers Viktor & Rolf, have been invited back to the highly exclusive couture calendar and will present a couture collection in Paris this July.
Between 1998 and 2000, the designers presented five collections, including a remarkable Russian Doll collection in which a model was dressed in ten layers of fabric—creating a veritable fashion art performance.
Graduates of the Arnherm Academy of Art and Design, designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren founded the avant-garde design house, which is recognized for provocative couture and conceptual glamour around the world.
