Victoria Beckham & The Outnet Charity Collaboration

TheOutnet.com, which recently turned 5-years-old, is collaborating on a special project with Victoria Beckham  to raise money and awareness for the aid organization, mothers2mothers (m2m).

The British fashion designer and mother to Brooklyn (14), Romeo (11), Cruz (8), and Harper (2) got involved with the charity after visiting South Africa last February at the recommendation of American Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour.

m2m aims to provide health education and support to “Mentor Mothers” who are living with HIV. Of her encounter with m2m founder, Dr. Mitch Besser, Beckham said: “After spending just a few days with these remarkable women and learning more about the charity from Mitch and his lovely wife, Annie Lennox, I wanted to do as much as I could. It really was a life-changing experience; I’ve never experienced anything like it.”

In the short film embedded here, Beckham explains how passionate she feels about the charity. You can also glimpse some of the key pieces that the designer personally selected to sell.

The Victoria Beckham Charity Sale for m2m will run from August 20th-25th, 2014 on TheOutnet.com. Over 600 personal pieces, ranging from designer ready-to-wear, jewelry, and accessories—some of them collector items dating back to Beckham’s early days with the Spice Girls—will be available to buy.

“I laughed a lot when we were going through my wardrobe as the pieces hold so many happy memories for me, David and the children. A lot of the clothes have been specially designed for me by the most talented designers and I’ve loved wearing them; however, I now feel it’s someone else’s turn to enjoy them,” Beckham added.
