Swarovski Elements has teamed up with six emerging designers from the region, who exclusively designed a couple of abayas each using the brand’s crystals to embellish their statement pieces.
The new collaboration, named Crystal Loves Abaya, features designs by two UAE-based designers, Abeer Al Suwaidi and Sara Al Madani for Rouge Couture; two Saudi Arabia-based designers, Hania Albraikan for Hania and Rawan Azhar of Ta Marbota; Qatari designer, Sheikha Hend Al Qassemi for Medici; and Omani designer, Lubna Al Zakwani, for Endemage. The Swarovski-adorned abayas will be exhibited in a presentation at The Empty Quarter gallery, located in DIFC, Dubai, on November 27th.
