At yesterday’s Burberry Prorsum show, Christopher Bailey talked about creating “new heirloom pieces” in patchwork dresses, embroidered trenchcoats, and luxurious shearlings. But the models walked away with heirlooms of their own—classic Burberry scarves in brightly colored plaids with embroidered monograms. In case you don’t recall, last season’s models received über-popular monogrammed ponchos, so not only is Burberry setting trends, but it might take the cake for best gift bag.
