Why not start off your week with a good deed, albeit a fashionable one? Stella McCartney is releasing two limited-edition tees that benefit War Child UK, a British charity that provides support to children in war-torn countries. The T-shirts, available in kids and women’s sizes, feature illustrations inspired by drawings done by children in the United Kingdom and the countries War Child UK supports. Through the charity’s “Draw Me to Safety” program, which was launched by McCartney and Angelina Jolie, kids aged 8 to 15 were able to submit artwork around the theme of safety.
“War Child UK and I are excited to share their insights through art that will raise awareness and encourage the world to do more to protect children from war,” said McCartney. The designer’s tees will retail for $55 for the children’s version and $125 for the women’s, with all profits from the sales of the tees going to War Child UK. The styles are available to buy now on stellamccartney.com.
