In collaboration with Swarovski’s Creative Director, Nathalie Colin, Tunisian jewelry designer, Shourouk Rhaiem, presents Secret Treasures, a capsule collection of 14 pieces for this Fall 2013 season.
Designed in Shourouk’s opulent, ‘barock ‘n roll’ signature style, the capsule comprises a selection of necklaces, pendants, bangles, bracelets, earrings, and brooches, all studded with Swarovski’s chunky gems and inspired by the Indian Maharajah dynasties.
“This collection is a contemporary ‘scale’ of India. I had the possibility to inject all my knowledge of the Maharajah into these creations, adding my personal twist to it, which felt like a big chance! You don’t always have this kind of opportunity to mix your passions, interest and savoir-faire [sic],” explained Shoruouk in a conversation with Style.com/Arabia.
The statement piece of the collection, a richly bejeweled necklace, impresses with prong-set crystal creations sewn on a black Alcantara cord. Prices range from USD$125 for a bracelet to USD$850 for a statement necklace.
Along with her new capsule, Shourouk launched Daktari, a debut collection of Swarovski crystal-adorned python and leather bags which are featured alongside her new Spring 2014 jewelry and gem-studded caps.
