Following his Spring Summer 2015 ready-to-wear fashion show, Moschino’s creative director, Jeremy Scott, released for immediate purchase a capsule collection called “Think Pink: Shop the Dream,” is ode to Mattel’s iconic Barbie doll.
Coinciding with his Barbie-inspired collection, which was presented yesterday in Milan, the capsule collection follows the new “straight off the runway” philosophy and includes an exclusive selection of clothes and accessories which celebrate all things pink and girlie. The soon-to-be cult accessories include “logo-ized” workout headbands, backpacks, clutches, and a mirror iPhone case that will ensure you are ready for any selfie opportunity. As for the clothes, expect mini-skirts to be worn with long, cropped or tank top knits in bright bubblegum shades of pink. Following on the success of Moschino’s fast food capsule collection last season, expect to see Barbie accessories taking over the street style scene very soon.
The collection is available in stores from today, including the Moschino store in the Dubai Mall, the Moschino store at the Galleria mall in Abu Dhabi, and in both Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdales.
