Who said that reading glasses are out of fashion? If you ask The Sartorialist, he might just tell you that they are in fact reason enough to make you worthy of being on his blog.
The much sought after street style photographer and blogger, Scott Schuman, has partnered with Italian eyewear company, Luxottica, for a new digital project. Luxottica is known as the world’s largest eyewear company, controlling over 80% of major international eyewear brands, with 7000 selling points worldwide, and a rich brand portfolio including licenses such as Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Stella McCartney, Versace, and Miu Miu, among others.
“It’s going to be about close portraits, they’re really going to highlight the different ways that people wear optical,” Scott Schuman states in the above promotional video flick. “It’s going to be a fun challenge to see how people are able to express themselves through their eyewear choices.”
Schuman will travel to fashion weeks across the globe, in order to spot and photograph the most stylish wearers of eyeglasses and share his pictures on Faces by the Sartorialist, a newly launched blog dedicated to his collaboration with Luxottica.
