The late Oscar de la Renta was known for designing some of the most beautiful red carpet dresses and for being the go-to designer for celebrity brides like Kate Bosworth, Katherine Heigl, and most recently, Amal Clooney.
The couturier passed away last year, but his legacy continues with creative director Peter Copping, who recently dressed his first bride—Haifa Snobar from Saudi Arabia. Oscar de la Renta’s Middle East division PR executive married Mohammed Abu Ghazaleh at Château de Voisin in Saint-Hilarion, France, in an intimate wedding ceremony attended by the couple’s family, friends, and celebrity guest Timbaland. Her Oscar de la Renta long-sleeved, princess style dress featured a sheer neckline and embellished star-shaped flower petals. The delicate gown, which took 30 people and 1,500 hours to make, allowed the 26-year-old to move freely and gracefully on her big day.
