By now, we’re used to street style stars making more than just a style statement with their designer clutches. Olympia Le-Tan’s hand-embroidered bags promote classic lit like Life is a Moment by Youssef El-Sibae, and Anya Hindmarch’s colourful clutches remind us to start the day with a bowl of cereal. Now, the Lebanese designer Sarah Beydoun of Sarah’s Bag is toning down her signature retro glamour to use her bags to remind us to take a chill pill this coming Fall 2015 season.
Designed to look like medicine boxes, the bags read “XANAKS and the Living is Easy;” “PROZAK Feel Like Heaven Everyday;” Because Life is a Party PANODOL;” and “When I am with you PARADISE.” The clutches come in clinical blue, green, and red hues and also note the number of tablets in English and French. To all the downers out there: wear with caution, these bags will certainly put a smile on your face.
