Walk the Line with Sarah Jessica Parker

01mIt’s about time. In September of last year, Sarah Jessica Parker announced the launch of an upcoming shoe line, and now, the first designs have been revealed.

The new women’s shoe line, titled SJP, is the common brainchild of the American actress and George Malkemus, President of Manolo Blahnik USA.

The first model of her collection shares unsurprising similarities with Manolo Blahnik’s classic Mary Janes, which received a now famous tribute from Carrie Bradshaw, a.k.a. Sarah Jessica Parker, during a Sex and the City episode.Dina

The model named ‘Diana’ is a black stiletto crafted from patent leather and adorned with an asymmetric buckle strap. Parker also stated that further shoe models of the collection will include a stripe of grosgrain ribbon up the heel or a small tab on the side, to emphasize her signature style.

The shoes are manufactured in Italy and will be on display with a range of bags specially designed for the launch of the line. The first bag model, named ‘The Beekman’, was revealed on Parker’s Instagram account a few hours ago.

The SJP line will launch exclusively at Nordstrom, across the U.S.A., on February 28th, and will be accompanied by meet and greet sessions with the American actress.
