Sarah Jessica Parker, the actress who will forever be known in our hearts as shoe-lover Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City, will visit our region next week to celebrate the launch of her eponymous footwear line, the SJP Collection.
For this first international foray, the brand has chosen to launch in the Middle East. The SJP Collection shoes are now available in Dubai at Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdale’s.
To mark the occasion, the collection, created in collaboration with Parker’s business partner George Malkemus III, will include styles designed especially for the region and items influenced by Parker herself (we predict that the “Carrie” will be quite popular).
“I am thrilled to be launching the SJP Collection in our first international market,” the shoe designer commented on her launch. “This is an enormous opportunity for us to reach a whole new customer and we’ve had a lot of fun curating a collection we feel, and hope, properly reflects and suits the Middle Eastern woman’s lifestyle.”
The actress-turned-designer is due to make a personal appearance at Harvey Nichols on December 7th and at Bloomingdale’s on December 9th. Be there at 4pm on the dot for your chance to meet her.
