Last week, Salvatore Ferragamo celebrated the opening of its first store in Abu Dhabi situated in the prestigious Avenue at Etihad Towers, in the heart of the capital Emirate of the UAE. The launch was celebrated with an Editors lunch and followed by a soirée for VIP clients and guests.
For the occasion, Salvatore Ferragamo hosted an exhibition of shoes, which were brought to Abu Dhabi from the Ferragamo Museum in Florence. Eight special shoes that were worn by the likes of Hollywood actresses such as Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, and Angelina Jolie, were handpicked to be flown in for the event.

The boutique, which has a surface area of 180 square meters, offers dedicated spaces for both men’s and women’s collections and includes a large emphasis on accessories. A sophisticated atmosphere and lounge ambiance reflect the concept of the international stores as well as what the Italian brand is best known for – its Italian heritage, luxury, and craftsmanship.
