Sacai

Designer Chitose Abe is known for taking classic wardrobe items and transforming them into reinvented pieces. In other words, a shirt is presented as a deconstructed version reworked with patterns, cuts, and add-ons. For the Sacai Spring 2016 ready-to-wear offering, the classic paisley-print bandana was reimagined as sheer dresses, pleated skirts, and deconstructed tops. Gold embroidered floral lace added an opulent effect to the collection whereas the multicolored renditions were designed with a pastel print material featuring tigers and buildings.
