Making time during the busy Fashion Forward Season 5, Rozan Ahmed, a supporter of Arabian and African creativity, hosted her “Dine and Design” soirée at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai.
Guests including Nez Gebreel, CEO of the Dubai Design and Fashion Council; Marcela Danielova, Fashion Forward designer relations manager; and Ahmed Abdelrahman, the designer behind Thamanyah enjoyed an intimate evening of fashion and fine dining including “luxury” burgers on all-leather dining tables. For the fashion presentation, Saudi designer Haifa Fahad exclusively revealed her Grace Jones-infused Fall 2015 RTW “Dare” collection. The new line features metal definitions, accentuated layering, studded effects, and mixed fabrics. The Riyadh-based designer launched her brand in 2013 after graduating from the Art & Skills Institute in Saudi Arabia.
The evening continued as guests mingled to the sounds of soul music.
