Revlon Collaborates With Aiisha Ramadan

To mark the debut of cosmetic giant, Revlon’s, ColorBurst Lacquer and Matte Balm Crayons Collection in the region, the brand collaborated with Dubai-based designer, Aiisha Ramadan, during a launch event that culminated with a live art installation. Three of the Lebanese-born designer’s signature dresses—the “Dita,”, the “Claudette,” and the “Magical” were reproduced in white and provided an immaculate blank canvas for artist Hatty Pedder to showcase her true colors. Pedder’s whimsical hand painted illustrations were inspired by the joyful color palette from the Crayon Collection and executed to complement Revlon’s brilliant sorbet shades with the feminine silhouette of the customized gowns.

With this launch collaboration with a worldwide-established brand such as Revlon, Aiisha Ramadan is setting the foundation to expand her label further, a move she cemented by signing up recently with an international scouting company, which has plans to take her brand global.

Coinciding with the month of Ramadan—a befitting time to show compassion and auspicious correlation with Aiisha’s surname, donations from the sales of the lipsticks will be extended towards the Al Manzil charity, which aims to help challenged children in the region.

Beauty and benevolence, now that’s the kind of association we like to write about.
