Though no details have been provided, it has been just announced that Saint Laurent will return to its Paris roots on the Left Bank. It will be located at 24 rue de l’université in the Hôtel Sénecterre. Built in 1688 by Thomas Gobert, Architect to the King, the hôtel particulier is situated in the heart of Saint Germain, in Paris’ 7th district. From October 2013, it will house the couture salons and the Ready-to-Wear Ateliers for Saint Laurent menswear and womenswear. The main design studio is to remain in Los Angeles, as determined by Creative Director Hedi Slimane.
Saint Laurent will show its Fall 2013 RTW womenswear collection in Paris tomorrow.
