Alexis and Iris…

From Joan Didion for Céline to Joni Mitchell for Saint Laurent, it seems age-defying beauty is a common thread among the surfacing Spring ’15 ad campaigns. Jewelry designer Alexis Bittar is the latest to jump on the trend, having tapped the eccentric 93-year-old Iris Apfel as one of the faces of his new campaign. Apfel shares the spotlight with 19-year-old fashion blogger-actress Tavi Gevinson, who is also featured. [Huffington Post]

Shop the Golden Globes red carpet…

Shopping the Golden Globes may sound strange, but L’Oréal is making it a reality. The beauty brand will be using a 360-degree camera to shoot video of celebrities’ makeup looks on the red carpet this Sunday. The company will then use the videos to create gifs, which it will promote on various forms of social media alongside e-commerce links to shop the looks. [Adweek]

Kendall’s competition…

Although Kendall Jenner may be the face of Estée Lauder, the company has enlisted another PYT for its latest Crescent White campaign. British beauty Gabriella Wilde, who was discovered by Naomi Campbell at age 14, will appear in the ads, which debut in February. [Popsugar]

Another Beckham takes the spotlight…

Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria, has just landed his first fashion campaign. The 15-year-old will be the frontman of Polish brand Reserved. This is an inevitable next step for the teen, who made his modeling debut in Man About Town magazine last April. [The Telegraph]
