Public School’s Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne are showing no signs of slowing down. The designer duo who recently made their debut as creative directors of DKNY during New York Fashion Week will take their own brand global and stage their Pre-Fall 2016 fashion show in Dubai. The show is scheduled to take place in November in collaboration with Cadillac.
Public School is following in the footsteps of big luxury brands that take their in-between season shows to far off-destinations. Nearly every year, Chanel flies guests from around the world to distant locales such as Dallas, Seoul, and Dubai for Resort 2015 ready-to-wear. For Resort 2016, Louis Vuitton showcased in Palm Springs, Dior hosted a chic presentation in the South of France, and Gucci’s new creative director Alessandro Michele took the collection to New York City.
