Add dimension to your outfit with clashing prints of the same color palette. Case in point: a striped sweater vest layered over a bold shirt and styled with a geometric print skirt. Tie your look together with an oversized belt.

Spoiler alert: the summer slip dress also works for fall. Team a printed shirt with a turtleneck before reaching for a monochrome frock to layer over top. Complete your look with pointed-toe slides and a structured tote.
Last week, Miuccia Prada showcased the Prada Spring 2017 collection at its Via Antonio Fogazzaro showspace. A caged runway lined with LED screens that broadcast a film created in collaboration with American film director, David O. Russell, was set against a futuristic backdrop. Models took to the catwalk in retro ‘70s-inspired prints; colorful, plaid separates; and crystal laden silhouettes.
One styling element stood out in particular: layering. Cropped jackets were coupled with turtlenecks; and button-down shirts were worn under strappy dresses. Here, three layered looks from the Prada Spring 2017 collection show to help your transitional dressing into the new season.
