Peter Pilotto’s Affordable Wardrobe

Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos, winners of the the 2014 BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, have teamed up with American fashion retailer Target to create a limited edition women’s capsule collection for Spring/Summer 2014, that is available from today on Next to its own launch, Target also teamed up with Net-A-Porter to sell a specially curated assortment on the luxury online retailer’s website.

The Peter Pilotto for Target capsule collection features a selection of womenswear, swimwear, shoes, and other accessories, all designed in Pilotto’s signature style, which features graphic prints and sculptural feminine silhouettes. The collection includes nearly seventy items ranging in price from US $14.99-$79.99 (AED/SAR 55-290) for apparel and swimwear, and US $16.99-$39.99 (AED/SAR 60-145) for accessories.

“By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience,” commented Peter Pilotto. “This is a pivotal moment for our brand. Our collection for Target embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line, but makes it accessible to everyone,” added Christopher De Vos.

Pilotto and De Vos both graduated in fashion design from Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 2000 and established their own label immediately afterwards. They are also winners of the prestigious Fashion Forward Award from the British Fashion Council.

As of today, Peter Pilotto is sold in 220 retailers worldwide and its runway show has become a must-attend event on London’s ready-to-wear schedule. Celebrities such as Cate Blanchett, Sienna Miller, and Rihanna have all been spotted wearing Peter Pilotto’s designs.
