Every fashion week sees a bevy of bloggers, It girls, stylists, editors, and models invade the city streets. Ahead of Copenhagen Fashion Week Spring 2017, which kicks off tomorrow in the Danish capital, we caught up with the doyenne of Scandinavian cool, Pernille Teisbæk. The blogger-turned-stylist (and creative director) never fails to showcase a streamlined, polished aesthetic, and combines on-trend silhouettes with closet classics to create covetable street style ensembles. Think cropped, flared jeans with tailored coats, sculptural poplin shirts, and vintage tees layered under slip dresses. To finish her look, Teisbæk opts for statement shoes that include ankle boots signed Vetements and plush, velvet mules by Miu Miu.
When it comes to curating her enviable closet, Pernille Teisbæk knows that a well-edited wardrobe starts with solid basics. She picks up her feminine staples from Lovechild 1979 and Nué Notes—Copenhagen-based labels by designer Anne-Dorthe Larsen. Meanwhile, Teisbæk heads to Jérôme Vintage for retro pieces. “They have a great mix of iconic and classic pieces from the ‘60s to the ‘90s,” she reveals. As for accessories, Teisbaek looks to luxury retailer Holly Golightly for her shoes, bags, and jewelry.
