Olivia Palermo’s year is off to a great start. Her boyfriend, German model Joannes Huebl, has proposed. The happy couple, currently on vacation in St. Barts, got engaged over the holidays.
The engagement ring was revealed on Johannes Huebl’s Instagram with a candid video that shows Palermo, playfully running away from the camera, before she shows off the rock Huebl proposed with.
“Happy New Year to everybody and this is how we celebrate it: OP said YES,” Huebl wrote on his Instagram account.
Palermo and Huebl have been dating since 2008, after being introduced through mutual friends. Earlier this year, the American socialite said in an interview with Elle US: “I think that we grow together. I think that I’m constantly learning, and we’re both eager to learn about not only each other, but our interests.”
Who will design Olivia Palermo’s wedding dress? That’s certainly a question that will keep her many fans curious.
