Husband and wife, Fahad Al Hajiri and Sheikha Alanood Al Sabah, are both the founders and creative team behind the Kuwaiti fine jewelry brand, Octium. While the geometrically-inclined brand originated as an intimate design project for a private clientele, the brand has evolved substantially and is today being featured as part of an exclusive trunk show on Moda Operandi’s newly launched fine jewelry porthole.
Speaking to Style.com/Arabia, Sheikha Alanood Al Sabah recounts, “The basic fundamentals of architecture are core attributes to my designs, which balance the notions of valiant and powerful with gentle and feminine, while maintaining a level of modernity and innovation.”
Indeed, gold, diamonds, and precious stones are crafted into contemporary and sophisticated designs, while some pieces, like the eight-point star bracelet with diamonds recall fine, Middle Eastern motifs.
