If you’re not quite in the festive shopping mood just yet, Mulberry might help you to get there. The London-based luxury brand just launched its Festive Fairy Tales project, a reading scheduled each Saturday at Harrods in London.
Mulberry collaborated with Irish actor Allen Leech, who inaugurated the festive celebrations by holding a first fairy tale reading yesterday in Mulberry’s pop-up space, specially created for the occasion.
The new pop-up sells the brand’s latest ready-to-wear and accessories, including Lily bags in festive red, as well as several customization options, including as initials embossing on selected leather accessories and personalized fairy tale-inspired gift-wrapping.
To further celebrate the magic of the holiday season, British art director and set designer Shona Heath transformed five presentation windows at Harrods into a Mulberry-branded winter wonderland.
The fairy tale storytelling will continue each Saturday throughout the month of December. On December 7th, British performance poet Murray Lachlan Young will recite a poem, and on December 14th, Kids Company’s Camila Batmanghelidjh will read her fairy tale.
