Monaco just feted another fairy tale-worthy marriage: the union of Tatiana Santo Domingo to Andrea Casiraghi, the eldest son of Princess Caroline of Monaco and the late Stefano Casiraghi. Tatiana is the heiress of the Santo Domingo Group, a socialite, a fashion designer, and an entrepreneur, while her husband, Andrea, is the grandson of Grace Kelly.
The civil wedding was celebrated this Saturday, August 31, at the Prince’s Monegasque Palace in the presence of almost 300 guests. Tatiana and Andrea are already parents to a son named Sacha, born in London earlier this year. After the official ceremony, the invited family and friends could spot the newlyweds going down the grand staircase leading to the main courtyard. Tatiana was dressed in a summery bespoke creation by Missoni, embroidered in raffia and silk thread, with delicate layers of silk organza.
According to a picture on Lauren Santo Domingo’s Instagram account—Tatiana’s aunt and Moda Operandi co-founder—the bride spoiled her bridesmaids with a bachelorette party on a luxury yacht. Tatiana’s closest friends and family members were in attendance, including jewelry designer, Noor Fares; now sister-in-law, Charlotte Casiraghi; and Dana Alikhani, co-founder of the sustainable, ethnic-chic fashion line, Muzungu Sisters. The guests were all dressed in white, romantic lace and crochet dresses, accessorized with floral headbands. In the center of the picture, the bride-to-be was wearing a red and white dip-dyed crochet Missoni dress and holding her much loved Boston Terrier dog in her lap.
Charlotte Casiraghi, Andrea’s younger sister, is expecting her first child at the end of the year and, according to French newspaper Le Parisien, might complete the series of Monegasque marriages this autumn, with her partner, the Moroccan-French actor and comedian, Gad Emaleh.
