A Round-Up of the Arab Designers Showcasing Spring 2016 RTW Collections at Fashion Week

As New York Fashion Week Spring 2016 comes to an end, we shift our focus to London, Milan, and Paris and round-up the Middle Eastern designers that are scheduled to present their Spring 2016 collections during the upcoming fashion weeks. Here’s what you can expect from our regional talents—stay tuned for our reviews.

Hasan Hejazi

The half-English, half-Jordanian London-based designer will showcase his heart-themed Spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection during London Fashion Week, which will feature the brand’s use of digital print for the first time.

The presentation will take place at The W Hotel, Leicester Square, on September 18th from 11am-4:30pm.

Nabil El-Nayal

Syrian designer Nabil El-Nayal, who will present during London Fashion Week, gave us an exclusive sneak peek of his sketches for his Spring 2016 collection which he describes as “Elizabethan sportswear.”

The presentation will take place at Flat 3, 59 Onslow Gardens, London, September 19th—20th, from 9am–6pm.

Razan Alazzouni

Saudi designer Razan Alazzouni will showcase her Spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection amid her new line of couture eveningwear and accessories during London Fashion Week.

The presentation will take place in Belgravia, London, September 17th—19th, from 10am–6pm.

House of Nomad

Expect crystal embellishments for Spring 2016 from designers Ahmad El-Sayed and Saleh Al-Banna, the creative minds behind the varsity-inspired Dubai-based label House of Nomad.

The presentation will take place during Paris Fashion Week at Faux Paris Showroom, October 1st—5th.

Bouguessa

Contemporary abaya designer Faiza Bouguessa is taking her Spring 2016 presentation to Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. The Dubai-based designer who caught Beyoncé’s attention is known for her modern and minimal approach to the traditional overlay.

The presentation will take place at Fashion Hub, Milan, September 23rd—25th, from 9am-7pm; and at Tranoï Femme, Paris, October 2nd—5th, from 9am-7pm.

Dima Ayad

The Dubai-based Lebanese designer revealed a sneak peek of her upcoming Paris Fashion Week show on Instagram, featuring textured knits with embellished details.

The presentation will take place at Faux Paris Showroom, October 1st—5th.

Ola Swimwear

The region’s first swimwear brand by Syrian designer Ola Kashani is known for its sophisticated cuts and flattering silhouettes. The designer’s Spring 2016 collection features bathing suits and bikinis with stained glass prints, which she will showcase during Paris Fashion Week.

Arwa Al Banawi

After debuting her first ready-to-wear collection during Fashion Forward Season Five, the Saudi designer will present her latest offering during Paris Fashion Week.

Marzook

The Kuwaiti brother and sister duo will be heading to Paris to showcase their Spring 2016 accessories collection, which features sphere clutches in exotic leathers.

The presentation will take place at the Valery Demure showroom.

L’Afshar

Accessories designer Lilian Afshar has pastel hues and Ward Roberts courts on her mind for her Spring 2016 collection which she will present at Paris Fashion Week.

The presentation will take place at Faux Paris Showroom, October 1st—5th.

Fatema Fardan

Fatema Fardan showcased her Fall 2015 collection at New York Fashion Week during an soirée hosted by Julia Restoin Roitfeld. For her third ready-to-wear collection, the Emirati designer is off to Paris.

Madiyah Al Sharqi

Known for her feminine aesthetic, the Fujairah-based designer, who recently launched her eponymous ready-to-wear label at the upscale boutique Fivestory in New York, will present her Spring 2016 collection during Paris Fashion Week.
