Postcards From Our Middle Eastern Designers’ Summer Getaways

Aaaah, August 31st. Perhaps not the official last day of summer, but with everyone back at work, it sure feels like it. Fall 2015 certainly is gearing up to be our busiest and we’re already packing for yet another fashion month—New York, London, Milan, and Paris—it may sound like another vacation, but believe us, it isn’t. Our editors are feeling relaxed and refreshed—and hope that you made the best of your down time, too.

We know our Middle Eastern designers did.

Rami Al Ali meditated about his next collection while watching the sunset in Ibiza.

Nadine Kanso kept it simple in Paros. Just how we like it.

Rami Kadi was itching to keep working while soaking up la dolce vita in Tuscany.

Fatema Fardan teased us with her secret spot in Alaçati, Turkey.

Babak Golkar of The Emperor 1688 mastered the art of opening doors in Italy.

Nathalie Trad went back to her roots in Beirut, literally.

All Things Mochi’s Ayah Tabari gave us a boardwalk bird’s-eye view of the Suada Club in Istanbul.

Reema Al Banna of Reemami flew high in the Nice treetops.

Zayan Ghandour of Zayan the Label and Sauce beckoned us to run away with her. If only we could turn back time. #islandlife
