More to shop from Choupette and Karl…

Karl Lagerfeld’s cat Choupette has been the inspiration behind many items at the designer’s eponymous label—totes, wallets, and sweaters included. But rest assured, Choupette’s days as a muse are not done just yet. The feline and her owner are the subject of a new capsule collection for the Karl Lagerfeld line. The brand enlisted illustrator Tiffany Cooper to create a series of sweatshirts and tees featuring the pair’s portraits, set to debut online at Stylebop next month. [Glamour]

The model weight debate continues…

Several weeks ago France proposed a law that would ban models whose BMI is less than 18, and yesterday Denmark announced it would be proposing similar rules, albeit somewhat more lenient. The Danish Fashion Ethical Charter states that models would be subject to annual health checks and should be taught about nutrition. The charter also insists that healthy foods be available at shoots and all models be paid. [The New York Times]

Lululemon courts the guys…

Attention, yogis: Athleticwear brand Lululemon is attempting to gain a following in the menswear market with a new product it calls the ABC pants. Lululemon CEO Laurent Potdevin said the pants are designed to give “[men] and the family jewels room to breathe” and have already helped increase men’s sales by 16 percent. [Business of Fashion]

Like Mike…

Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne of Public School opened up about their latest collaborations and their many award nominations and wins in a new interview. The main talking point is their new series of Nike Air Jordans, of which Chow noted, “We work in unison with them, and the Xs were something that they were about to release. For the last two shows, we’ve debuted the Jordans on the runway in a different colorway from the release they’re doing.” [Complex]
