The H&M website experienced major difficulties this morning as the Alexander Wang collection went live for purchase. The whole site went down for a significant period of time as the retailer tried to accommodate for such high demand. The site is now up and running again. Nicholas Kirkwood’s new store…
British shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood is expanding into China, unveiling a permanent retail space today within Beijing department store Shin Kong Place. LVMH took a majority stake in the shoe brand last September and is the driving force behind the expansion. [The Business of Fashion]

According to Brand Keys’ annual shopping survey, 54 percent of consumers start their holiday shopping in November before Thanksgiving, while only 25 percent wait until Black Friday sales begin.
