Model Liu Wen has been tapped to star in a Chinese reality television show, We’re in Love. Wen will be paired with Korean celebrity Siwon for the show, which will require the duo to complete tasks while pretending to be a couple in love. Mario’s men…

Though he found fame photographing beautiful women like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, Mario Testino admitted recently that he “was always better at photographing men.” The lensman just released a photography book titled Sir, which explores the idea of masculinity and includes more than 300 images from the past 30 years. New modeling laws come to France…

Today the French government officially passed a law that will enforce a ban on the use of excessively thin models. In accordance with the law, models must maintain a healthy Body Mass Index of at least 18 before they are booked for a job, and must be able to prove their BMI via medical certificate. [Elle]

MAC and the milliner…

Master milliner Philip Treacy has collaborated with MAC Cosmetics on a recent campaign and collection. Treacy created three hats that highlight different areas of the face, and then developed corresponding MAC products to showcase those regions. The product range includes lipsticks, eyeliners, and more and will be available online and in-store through April 30. [The Cut]

Sotheby’s is auctioning 150 haute couture pieces—both garments and accessories—from the private collection of Didier Ludot this summer. The collection, which includes pieces by Cristóbal Balenciaga, Yohji Yamamoto, and Christian Dior, took the fashion collector more than 40 years to assemble.
