When we first interviewed Lili.Aiya’s Iraqi founders Maryam Solati and Noor Salih, we commended the designers for launching a socially responsible d3 company that quickly garnered the attention of MBC TV host Muna AbuSulayman and blogger Ascia AKF for its contemporary, modest fashion. Now, Bloomingdale’s Dubai is jumping on the bandwagon of the brand making a name for itself thanks to its timeless, modest style.
Lili.Aiya’s third capsule collection, featuring casual timeless separates, will launch on April 30th with special guest Ascia AKF, making Bloomingdale’s Dubai the first brick and motor retail location to carry this UAE-based label. Inspired by pure lines, a neutral palette serves as a backdrop for an inky collar and geometrically outlined inserts in poppy red or cobalt blue. A portion of all proceeds from the sales will be extended to women in need via the charity World Wide Welfare. Lili.Aiya has been supporting income-generating projects offering skill training for sustainable income since its inception in 2014.
