Out with the old and in with the new. Get inspired to replace your old glass slipper with a new one courtesy of the likes of shoe designers Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, Rene Caovilla, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Charlotte Olympia, Jerome C. Rousseau, and Stuart Weitzman.
Walt Disney Company has collaborated with the international shoe designers to accompany the worldwide release of the upcoming Cinderella movie and has invited them to draw inspiration from the iconic glass slipper and offer a modern take on the famed shoe—while injecting their own brand’s personality.
“The magic of a shoe that turns a woman into a princess and gives her the feeling of walking on clouds is a universal dream. A modern Cinderella fairytale of rediscovering a soft sensuality and a powerful femininity,” said Massimiliano Giornetti, the creative director for Salvatore Ferragamo.
The Cinderella Footwear Collection will be showcased exclusively at Dubai’s Level Shoe District, from March 11th to the 24th.
