Every year, Google releases an annual report called Year in Search, which ranks the search engine’s top topics that spiked during the year based on geographical locations and categories. This year, Lebanese designers Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad made the list for the most trending fashion designers in the United States during 2015. Elie Saab ranked at number six while Zuhair Murad made the list at number nine. Other designers that were featured included Raf Simons, Tommy Hilfiger, Karl Lagerfeld, and Christian Lacroix.
In other categories, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello’s nuptials was the most trending celebrity wedding of 2015, during which the bride wore a custom-made gown by Zuhair Murad. In the Oscar red carpet dresses category, Jennifer Lopez, who wore an Elie Saab couture creation to Hollywood’s biggest night, ranked at number two, meanwhile Lupita Nyong’o took the top slot.
