Tunis: Launch of Musk and Amber Concept Store

Musk and Amber, a new culture, design, and fashion gallery recently opened in Tunis, celebrated its launch with a party at the Bardo Museum, hosted by founder and owner, Lamia Bousnina Ben Ayed. “I’ve spent a lot of time traveling. And as I was collecting beautiful pieces of art throughout the years and discovering some young talented designers, at one point it became evident for me to share my passions […] in one space,” Bousnina Ben Ayed explained to Style.com/Arabia.

Offering art, furniture, fashion, and literature, the contemporary space welcomes a wide selection of designers, including Nathalie Trad and Caroline De Marchi.

The opening of the gallery also attempts to communicate on Tunisian heritage and culture. “We created a foundation, Musk and Amber Patrimoine (cultural heritage), in order to promote Tunisian craft and help Tunisian artists make high quality and artistically developed products,” concluded Bousnina Ben Ayed, affirming that art, fashion and design are giving a breath of fresh air to the local market in Tunisia.
