Seduction has always been central to Lama Jouni’s aesthetic. Before launching her label in 2013, the Lebanese designer had previous stints at Balmain and Rad Hourani. For Fall 2016, she continues to demonstrate that her strength lies in cuts and tailoring.

This season, Jouni tastefully highlighted the waist via wide, corset belts on asymmetrical dresses, while flowy silhouettes were later added to the offering in the form of a fluid, one-shoulder jumpsuit and a thigh-high slit gown in deep forest green. Looks featuring croc-embossed leather added a luxe edge to the collection, and other highlights included the belted cropped pants and the ultra-high-waist trousers. This Fall 2016 collection was punctuated with attitude, and the designer offered a number of styles for the career woman looking for a night on the town. Looking ahead, it would be refreshing to see Jouni showcase a stronger edit of statement-making options that women can rely on for daywear.
