Lilian Afshar, the Emirati designer behind the must-have sophisticated box clutch brand, L’Afshar, introduces a Fall 2015 collection inspired by the contrasting hues featured in a work by tormented artist Francis Bacon (Triptych, August 1972). Here, her signature marble effect clutches appear in inky black, stormy gray, and are juxtaposed with pastel lilac and green. Meanwhile, “crushed ice” clutches are remastered with metallic finishes, soft purple, and green. The collection also introduces the “crystal cut” clutch showcasing geometric patterns—once again, designer Lilian Afshar gives her regional and international fans yet another Made in Dubai jewel to covet.
