Lady Gaga’s Dramatic Silhouettes Signed Mohammed Ashi

Lady Gaga’s bloodthirsty character Elizabeth, who goes by the title “The Countess” in the latest installment of American Horror Story: Hotel, has captured the audience’s attention for both her powerful personality and her couture-laden wardrobe, which includes a number of dramatic silhouettes by Mohammed Ashi, creative director of the label Ashi Studio.

Mohammed Ashi has collaborated on numerous looks for Lady Gaga’s first acting role. In the latest episode of the show, Gaga’s character gets married wearing a dress from the Saudi designer’s Spring 2015 couture collection; a high-neckline, long-sleeved, fully embroidered gown that is elaborately embellished with ostrich feathers.

Yet another Ashi Studio creation—a white, custom-made, long-sleeved, embroidered, high-low voluminous gown—was worn by the singer in the series’ promo trailer, while a black, long-sleeved, paisley embossed, jacquard dress from the Fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection also made an appearance on the hit TV series this season.

Having already dressed A-listers Zendaya and Laura Haddock on the red carpet, along with British singer Rita Ora in her music video Poison, Mohammed Ashi’s celebrity portfolio continues to expand.
